VIOLENCE-FREE FUTURE
In 2025, the Center for Violence Prevention will hold the national violence prevention dissemination festival, Nonviolent Future.
Through the festival we travel around Denmark and bring knowledge about violence into the public sphere. Violence is a societal problem that has major human and economic consequences every year.
With a Non-Violent Future, we create an ongoing conversation about how we can collectively prevent violence – even if we may not experience it in our own lives. Prevention starts with knowledge, understanding and conversation.
Non-Violence Future is part of the Center for Violence Prevention's visibility strategy. We know that violence begins in language – and therefore it also ends there!

Nonviolent Future - Podcast
In connection with the festival Voldsfri Fremtid, the Center for Violence Prevention will publish the podcast of the same name throughout 2025. The podcast Voldsfri Fremtid interviews experts in the field of violence knowledge and violence prevention, to learn more about what violence is, what it can look like in real life, what forms of violence exist – and in particular, how each of us can help prevent violence. You will also learn about the Center for Violence Prevention's internal work with free peer-to-peer group courses for victims of violence and knowledge dissemination about violence and violence prevention. You can meet educators, therapists, psychologists, politicians, researchers and much more, and learn about how we can achieve a violence-free future together.
