Talk About Violence Group Programs
Tailored group programs with ongoing start dates online and in person
At CFV, we believe support should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experiences. That's why we offer tailored group programs designed to meet different needs and create a safe space where you can find support and community.
Being affected by violence, either as a victim or a relative, can feel isolating—but it doesn't have to be. Talk About Violence group programs provide a safe environment where you meet others with similar experiences. Here, you can share your thoughts, gain new perspectives, and know that you are not alone.
Each group program lasts eight weeks and is led by professional facilitators trained in violence prevention, who guide the sessions and ensure that you feel heard and understood. Talk About Violence: A Community for Healing and Resilience
At Talk About Violence, we offer a non-therapeutic group program as a safe complement to your healing process. Here, you meet others who have experienced violence in close relationships, and together we create a space – online or in person – where there is room to share, listen, and explore alternative paths.
Our approach is based on methods such as collective healing, peer-to-peer support, and witnessing, with a focus on responsive practice and acts of resilience, helping you regain the resources to take control of your life.
Collective Healing: Resources in Community
When experiences are shared with others who have gone through similar situations, a safe space for healing emerges. We realize that we are not alone and can reflect on and learn from each other. The group's dynamics help rebuild trust – both in yourself and in others.
Methods and Approaches
Peer-to-Peer: Equal Support and New Perspectives
We see you as the expert of your own life. Facilitators create a framework for reflection and recognition, allowing you to find your own answers and discover resources, inspired by both your experiences and those of others.
Witnessing: Being Seen and Empowered
Sharing your story and being witnessed by others can change the way you see yourself. When your story is retold by others in the group, new perspectives emerge that can strengthen your understanding of yourself.
Response-Based Practice: Focus on Acts of Resistance
We acknowledge your reactions and actions in response to violence as active choices to protect yourself and others. This creates a space where your strengths and resources can be recognized and developed at your own pace.
Why Choose Talk About Violence?

You are met as you are, in a safe and respectful community.
