On 14 March we had our first press release of the year in MitOdense. Where we talk about the new nationwide support groups for mothers exposed to violence. Here, CFV-Fyn in collaboration with Alenemorskab has started several group courses.

On March 18, director Ditte Bjerregaard was on P1 Morgen to talk about partner murder and CFV's latest report  "Jealousy and violence: A qualitative study of connections between jealousy and violence in relationships". Listen to the feature right here

On March 18, we had a press release in LokalNyt København. Here we talk about the new nationwide group courses for mothers exposed to violence. Here, CFV in collaboration with Alenemorskab has started several group courses locally in Copenhagen.

On March 29, we had a response to a debate article in AvisenDanmark. The rejoinder is about the fact that in Denmark we do not lack partner homicide commissions, but that we instead lack politicians who want to introduce the knowledge that already exists now about partner homicide. On 03 April we were featured in a feature on TV2 Kosmopol. Here we talked about femicides, why they happen and how they can be prevented. Among other things, what you as a relative can keep an eye on. See our feature right here

On April 10, we had an article in Halsnæs newspaper which told about our new lecture tour around Denmark, where the first stop was precisely Halsnæs.

On 15 April we had a debate post in Socialmonitor. The debate paper dealt with the challenges you face when you, as a victim, experience violence. We hope with the submission that we can help start a debate about Denmark's work with violence prevention. Read the article right here

On 13 May, there was an article in Viborg Stift's Folkeblad which referred to our application to put up commemorative plaques in Viborg municipality. It was unfortunately a no from the municipality, but we are happy that many other municipalities have agreed to hang up the commemorative plaques. Read the article right here

On August 14, TV2 had an article and TV2 Kosmopol a TV feature about CFV's commemorative plaque project. Here they focused on why it is important for the next of kin and how memorial plaques in honor of victims of femicides can help prevent murder. On and around August 26, Nordjutland shares a series of articles about femicide and intimate partner violence. The article series will be published at the same time that CFV holds a commemorative ceremony where all commemorative plaques will be put up and hung in Aalborg.
